Business Development Manager – Kerala Region

Role Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Kerala region will be responsible for expanding the Uniexperts agent network, developing institutional partnerships, and driving student recruitment for international universities. The role requires strong relationship management skills, frequent travel across Kerala, and the ability to support agents in converting student applications successfully.
The BDM will act as the key link between Uniexperts, sub-agents, and partner institutions to ensure sustainable growth in applications, enrolments, and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1. Agent Network Development
- Identify and onboard new education agents across Kerala.
- Build strong relationships with existing partner agents.
- Conduct regular visits to agents and training sessions.
- Ensure agents understand Uniexperts processes, CRM usage, and partner universities.
2. Student Recruitment Growth
- Generate student leads through agent networks.
- Support agents in counselling students for overseas education.
- Ensure applications are submitted accurately and on time.
3. Market Expansion
- Identify potential cities and education hubs across Kerala.
- Conduct seminars, workshops, and university events.
- Develop partnerships with training centres, schools, and colleges.
4. Partner Relationship Management
- Represent Uniexperts with university partners during visits and events.
- Coordinate university webinars and agent training sessions.
- Promote new university programs and intakes.
5. Sales & Targets
- Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for:
- Agent onboarding
- Applications
- Enrolments
- Track sales activities and pipeline in the CRM system.
6. Reporting & CRM
- Maintain accurate records of agents and applications in the CRM.
- Submit weekly sales reports to management.
- Track market feedback and competitor activities.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The performance of the BDM will be evaluated based on:
- Number of new agents onboarded
- Active agents generating applications
- Number of student applications submitted
- Number of successful enrolments
- Revenue generated for the region
- Agent engagement and retention
- CRM data accuracy and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- 2–5 years experience in international education recruitment or B2B sales
- Experience working with study abroad agents is highly preferred
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel extensively across Kerala

Compensation Structure (negotiable)
Salary: ₹4,20,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Incentives:

Travel Requirements
The BDM is expected to travel frequently across Kerala including major cities such as:
- Kochi
- Trivandrum
- Kozhikode
- Thrissur
- Kottayam
- Kollam
