1. Policy Statement
Uniexperts.io is committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking do not take place within our business operations or supply chains. We have a zero-tolerance approach towards all forms of slavery, servitude, forced labour, child labour, bonded labour, and human exploitation.
This policy reflects our commitment to complying with applicable laws and international standards, including the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, International Labour Organization principles, Indian labour laws, UAE labour laws, and other applicable regulations in the countries where we operate.
2. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to:
- Prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business activities.
- Protect employees, contractors, consultants, agents, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Promote ethical recruitment and employment practices.
- Provide a clear process for reporting concerns.
- Ensure responsible supply chain and partner management.
3. Scope
This policy applies to all individuals and organizations working with or on behalf of Uniexperts.io, including:
- Directors and senior management
- Employees and temporary staff
- Interns and consultants
- Contractors and vendors
- Education consultants and agent partners
- Recruitment agencies and service providers
- Business partners and suppliers
4. Definition of Modern Slavery
Modern slavery includes, but is not limited to:
Forced Labour
Work or service performed involuntarily under threat, coercion, intimidation, abuse of power, or penalty.
Human Trafficking
The recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring, or receipt of people through force, fraud, deception, or coercion for exploitation.
Bonded Labour
Work performed to repay debt where the worker is unable to leave employment freely.
Child Labour
Employment of any person below the legal minimum working age.
Servitude
Situations where a person is forced to live or work under the control of another person and cannot leave freely.
5. Our Commitments
- We employ workers voluntarily and lawfully.
- We do not knowingly use forced, bonded, or child labour.
- We do not allow recruitment fees to be charged to workers.
- We ensure workers are free to leave employment with reasonable notice.
- We do not withhold passports, identity documents, or personal belongings.
- We provide fair working conditions and lawful employment contracts.
- We comply with applicable wage, working hour, and employment laws.
6. Supply Chain Due Diligence
Uniexperts.io expects all suppliers, vendors, contractors, consultants, education agents, and business partners to comply with this policy and uphold ethical labour practices.
Where appropriate, we may:
- Conduct supplier and partner due diligence checks.
- Request compliance declarations.
- Include anti-slavery clauses in contracts.
- Review labour and recruitment practices.
- Investigate concerns or complaints.
- Suspend or terminate relationships where violations are identified.
7. Responsibilities
Directors and Senior Management
Responsible for promoting ethical business practices, reviewing risks, and ensuring this policy is implemented effectively.
Managers
Responsible for ensuring team members understand this policy and report any suspected breach.
Employees and Contractors
Responsible for complying with this policy and reporting concerns in good faith.
8. Reporting Concerns
Any employee, contractor, supplier, agent, consultant, or stakeholder who suspects modern slavery, forced labour, trafficking, child labour, or exploitation must report the concern immediately.

9. Whistleblower Protection
Uniexperts.io will not tolerate retaliation, harassment, discrimination, dismissal, or adverse treatment against any person who raises a concern in good faith.
10. Training and Awareness
Uniexperts.io may provide appropriate awareness and training to employees, managers, recruitment personnel, compliance teams, and relevant third parties to help identify and prevent modern slavery risks.
11. Breach of Policy
Any breach of this policy may result in:
- Disciplinary action
- Termination of employment
- Suspension or termination of supplier or partner contracts
- Removal from approved vendor or agent lists
- Reporting to relevant authorities where legally required
12. Monitoring and Review
This policy will be reviewed annually by senior management to ensure it remains effective, relevant, and compliant with applicable laws and best practices.
13. Approval
This policy is approved by the Board of Directors of Uniexperts.io and its associated entities.
